I’m Ken Edwards, President of Precision Placements and founder of TextileJobs.com, one of the industry’s most recognized talent hubs. After graduating from NC State University, I began my career as an Industrial Engineer in the textile sector. Over the years, I advanced to Production Manager, Plant Manager, and ultimately Vice President of Operations. That experience on the front lines of manufacturing—overseeing people, processes, and profit—shaped everything we do at Precision Placements.
As both a hiring executive and a candidate, I worked with several search firms. Far too often, I encountered one of two critical gaps: a lack of professionalism or a lack of industry understanding.
